Captain Ron LeDuc owner and operator of Blue Eyed Trader fishing charters in Key West, Florida has 35 years of sportfishing under his belt. He fished off of the Jersey Shore with his father and brothers as a kid and has been fishing Key West and the Florida Keys since 1980 with his wife of 30 years, Nina, and his children. Family fun fishing is where it all began. Fishing with Ron will be the highlight of your trip to Key West.
Ron's experience includes fly fishing the flats up the Gulf of Mexico side and down the Atlantic side of the Florida Keys and Key West for bonefish, permit and tarpon. Captain Ron has fished offshore all along the Florida Keys and Key West for just about every species including Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Sharks and BlackfinTuna, that pass through and reside along this beautiful Florida Keys coastline. He has fished the reefs and wrecks off of Key West and produced huge Goliath Grouper and Amberjacks, the more wary Mutton Snapper and African Pompano, elusive Permit and many other species.
He is as comfortable and confident on the water as he is on dry land. Captain Ron will make you feel at home fishing in the waters of Key West. Aboard the Blue Eyed Trader
The Blue Eyed Trader is a solid custom built Henriques 28ft Express, an offshore angler equipped for the demanding fishing of the Florida Keys. She's smooth and sturdy while at sea.
The Trader isn't an open, center console boat without shade or protection. Her interior accommodations include cushioned bench seats in the shelter of the salon. You can rest out of the sun and wind in comfort. There is a fully enclosed private head with a sink, ample cooler space for snacks and beverages.
On the Blue Eyed Trader Charter boat in Key west you get your money‘s worth. Captain Ron can provide transportation on the island of Key West to and from the Blue Eyed Trader. Complimentary snacks and soft drinks are included with the trip.
